A beautiful mostly Florida native plant garden in Miami. I love their wide variety of trees and bushes, and I always love a sunny wildflower area. the whole place was teeming with birds, pollinators and wildlife. It’s a great example of what you can do with a native plant and how beautiful and beneficial they can be.
Species in the piece include: slash pine, cypress, red maple, leather fern, coontie, blanketflower, Bahama cassia, and sunshine mimosa in the landscape. It has a closeup of the blanketflower and twin flower (garden favorite!) with a gulf fritillary butterfly, ruby-throated hummingbird and Atala butterly (and a monarch, blue jay and black racer snake in the background)
