Corky Stem Passion Vine (Passiflora suberosa) is Florida’s native passion vine variety, with small non-showy flowers and multi-shaped leaves (sometimes lobed, sometimes not, to confuse the butterflies that want to host on it)
Three iconic and prolific butterfly species host on this plant, including the Florida state butterfly, Zebra Longwing. The Julia (solid orange) and Gulf Fritillary (orange with speckles) are also common visitors!
