Kim is a Florida artist and activist. She advocates for the preservation of natural spaces through educational illustration, community events and collaboration with local organizations and people on creative projects, such as "Erased Drawings" and "Pine Rockland Zine". Her series of representational watercolor paintings are inspired by the natural scientific illustration of John Audubon and Maria Merian. She is also the STEAM instructor at the Boca Raton Girls and Boys Club where she works with elementary to high school students.
Some collaborative projects I've done in the past include:
-An educational illustrated Pine Rockland coloring book made in collaboration with the Miami Pine Rocklands Coalition available for free download.
-Children's and family art projects and activities with the Boca Raton Community Garden and South Florida Wildlands Association.
-Mending Tree, an environmental advocacy community art project in collaboration with Viridis Art Collective.
-Erased Drawings, an experience of loss for Florida biodiversity conducted with community participation.
